Five men have been jailed after a National Crime Agency investigation into cocaine brought ashore at Eastbourne Marina. The NCA says they were sentenced at Hove Crown Court on Friday 23 October 2026 after guilty pleas.

The agency says officers arrested the men during an operation involving the fishing vessel New Horizon on 8 June. It reports seizing 425kg of cocaine, valued by the NCA at £34 million.

The two organisers each received 16 years. The other sentences were 12 years, eight years, and six years and eight months.

The marina reference on Eastbourne Live identifies the wider harbour area, not an exact landing point or an active emergency.
