Updated 12 October 2026 at 11:32 BST. National Rail marked the temporary weekday off-peak changes between Ore, Eastbourne and London Victoria as cleared at 16:48 BST on Sunday 11 October. Its notice says normal service is expected from Monday 12 October.
The earlier advice about splitting journeys at Haywards Heath or Eastbourne concerned that temporary timetable. It should no longer be treated as the current instruction for every weekday off-peak journey.
This clearance does not cover every separate engineering change or disruption. National Rail still lists the 01:08 Haywards Heath–Eastbourne service as replaced by buses on Tuesday to Thursday, 13–15 October, with connections via Lewes.
