Eastbourne Borough Council’s proposed-submission Local Plan representation period opened today, Friday 2 October 2026.
The representation period runs from 09:00 on Friday 2 October to 17:00 on Friday 13 November 2026. It is now open.
How to respond
The council says responses should address legal compliance or soundness. Its portal explains online, email and postal submission routes. Paper documents are available at the Customer Contact Centre, 1 Grove Road, weekdays 10:00–14:00 during the period.
This is the proposed-submission stage, not adoption of the plan.
