Airbourne 2026 has finished after four days of flying displays and seafront activity from Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 August.
The free Eastbourne International Airshow returned for its 32nd year, with the main event site running from the Western Lawns to the Bandstand. The published programme brought together modern military aircraft, historic types, aerobatic teams and ground attractions.
What was on the 2026 programme?
Organisers announced a line-up that included the Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team, the “Spirit of Kent” Spitfire and a Navy Wings Wasp appearing with the Royal Navy Black Cats. As with every airshow, individual flying displays remained subject to operational and weather conditions.
The official event site was open from 10.30am to 5pm on each of the four days, with flying scheduled from around lunchtime. Airbourne is publicly run and free to attend, relying on donations, sponsorship and commercial income to meet its costs.
