National Rail has confirmed that the Bexhill signalling disruption affecting Hastings–Eastbourne trains has ended. Its incident record gives the clearance time as 00:52 BST on Friday 2 October 2026.

This confirmation replaces our earlier report that Southern’s warning had disappeared without an explicit clearance notice being verified. Southern’s live page no longer lists the incident.

The fault disrupted services on Thursday evening and into the early hours of Friday. Check Southern’s current journey information for any separate timetable or engineering changes; earlier incident-specific bus and ticket arrangements should not be relied on.
