An East Sussex County Council notice schedules overnight works on nine roads off Seaside, on various dates between 28 September and 29 November 2026, 19:00–06:00, weather permitting.
The notice covers sections of Winchelsea Road, Finmere Road, Allfrey Road, Romney Street, Vine Square, Windermere Crescent, Channel View Road and Northbourne Road, plus all of Fort Road.
It does not give individual nights or say all roads close together. It does not announce a closure of Seaside itself. A pedestrian route is to be provided, with property access maintained where possible and diversions for through traffic.
