East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service says a fire at a former nightclub in Langney Road, Eastbourne, is being treated as deliberate.
In an update issued at midday on Monday 21 September, the service confirmed that a fire investigation is taking place.
Emergency response
Crews were called at 17:07 on Sunday 20 September. Fire appliances from Eastbourne, Hailsham and Preston Circus attended, with police also at the scene.
The service reported no injuries and said crews had left at about 20:20. Its update does not name the former nightclub or identify a suspect.
