Eastbourne Local Plan 2022–2042
Next stage expectedThe Regulation 18 consultation closed on 10 April 2026. The published timetable says a final version is expected to go to a further consultation in autumn 2026 before submission for independent examination. The draft identifies capacity for an average of 301 homes a year, against the Government figure of 714, and prioritises brownfield and accessible locations.
Eastbourne Parking Review 3
Implementation stageEast Sussex County Council says the review is at Stage 5. The planning committee met on 15 July 2026, and the authority is arranging for the approved changes to be introduced and the traffic regulation order sealed. Road-marking work depends on suitable weather.
